With man gone, is there hope for Gorilla?by ~Lianne-Issa

This drawing is inspired by a book called 'Ishmael.'

It is a philosophical debate, (between a Gorilla and a man) which disects mankind's existence on the planet, how we have changed the Earth and the effect our continued behaviour will have on the planet which sustains us.

There is a poster up on the wall in the room where the debate takes place which reads.. "with man gone, is there hope for Gorilla?" The duality of this question is really evocative, and of all the things discussed in the book... this stuck out in my memory!

Pick up the book if matters like 'the environment', our growing population and our need to control our surrounding interest you.
